Type 2 Assignment - kinetic typography!
I cranked this out in a matter of hours after realizing that all the template work I’d done in Illustrator was useless. Everyone was impressed because mine had sound AND the type lined up with it. I’m basically amazing.
(This is the extent of my AfterEffects knowledge)
P.S. If you haven’t watched History of the Soviet Union by Pig with the Face of a Boy on Youtube, you probably should because it’s great.

Shrek, James and the Giant Peach, and Stargirl. My James ended up being selected…but then the play was cut from the season so I didn’t make it in the brochure. OH WELL.
Assignment from 2011 - kinetic typography
This was the first time I used After Effects and also the first time I ever knew what the lyrics were to this song. All we had to do was animate a 30-second sound clip but I was like, naw, that’s too easy. So I animated 350 words instead. Because I hate myself.
Digital Painting Assignment - create a mascot for a made-up restaurant
So I came up with this idea for a college-town bar where the mascot is actually just a guy that dresses up in different outfits for different occasions and wears a horse mask.
My professor didn’t get it.
